My name is Pastor Tony Catron I graduate from K.S.U. with a degree in electronic/electrical engineering. While doing that I became a Junior Deacon and also a musician in my dad's ministry in Cleveland, Ohio. Years later, my career took me to Michigan where I worked as a Electrical/Electronic Engineer. While in Michigan I became a Minister, then later went to Seminary training at Birmingham Bible Institute and became an Elder at a large Pentecostal church in Michigan called LLCC. I was called to the ministry by God. So I headed up an outreach ministry based on the End Times, dealing with restoration in people lives. Then my dad called me back to Ohio to help him Pastor his church. During that time, God changed my outreach ministry, turning it into a full-time restoration ministry. He gave me the name Ark of Covenant Ministries and the rest is history.

If Blessing of the Lord Makes Rich, Then Why Are We so Poor

First, what doses it mean to be blessed and what is a blessing? The word blessed has two meanings. As an adjective it means to be made holy or consecrated. As a noun it refers to those who live with God in heaven. The word blessing is the act of declaring or wishing favor and goodness upon others.

Have we been blessed by the Lord yet? Well, lets take a look at Matthew 5:1-14 .

1 And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him: 2 And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying, 3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. 5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. 6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. 7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. 8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. 9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. 10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. 13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. 14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

Matthew 5:1-14

It’s very important that we remember that you don’t want just anyone praying for you or blessing you because they could be unknowingly cursing you. Even when you listen to certain music on your phone or on music apps such as Spotify. There is one artist by the name of Fred Hammond who sings a song called “We’re Blessed.” When listening to that song, who is being blessed? Is he pronouncing blessing on the hearer? If so then you need to be aware of what type spirit and also the type of lifestyle the singer has. If its jacked up, and they’re blessing you, then the spirit that is on them will be transferred over to you. You’ll begin to have the same frame of mind they have.

Just think of all the major blessings that the Lord Jesus has given all of you already. Listed below are the major blessings that the Lord Jesus has give all of us. We are:

  1. Blessed with redemption
  2. Blessed with a redeemer
  3. Blessed with a relationship with God
  4. Blessed by Jesus the Son of God who died for our sin
  5. Blessed by the Holy Ghost from Jesus
  6. Blessed that the Holy Ghost, that represents Jesus can and will live inside of you
  7. Blessed that Jesus will return to take you home

Just know that you are blessed to know of or know someone who serves Him, so if don’t know Him then you need to.

In My conclusion: walk on in Jesus.

Romans 5: 1-21 Says:
1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; 4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope: 5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. 6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. 10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. 11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement. 12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: 13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. 14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. 15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. 16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification. 17 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. 19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. 20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: 21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 5: 1-21

In Jesus name it is So.

Matthew Chapter 15

In this chapter we see Jesus isn’t afraid to call others on things that hinder their sanctification in God, even if it is a tradition. We also see Jesus perform signs of healing and other miracles.

Jesus Breaks Religious Traditions Verses 1-20

Jesus makes known to the prominent religious groups of His time that their traditions have impeded their hearts from growing in what He says is true undefilement; Hearts that don’t have evil thoughts of murder, adulteries, fornication, theft, lying and slander are those that remain undefiled. Anyone will know what truly is in your heart by the words you speak.

A Canaanite Woman’s Faith Verses 21-28

Jesus makes it clear to the Canaanite woman that He wasn’t sent but to the lost sheep of Israel, but her faith in Him moved Jesus heart to grant her request to heal her demonized daughter.

Jesus Heals Others Verses 29-31

Jesus heals those mute, blind, deformed, and lame, and for three 3 days the crowd who experienced and saw these miracles stayed with Jesus and praised God for these wonderful works.

Jesus Feeds Thousands Verses 32-39

Jesus had such compassion on this crowd of people who had been with him for that length of time and had nothing to eat, that he decided to miraculously provide for them with only seven loaves of bread and a few fish. 4000 people were fed with 7 baskets of extra food left over!

Summary

Here is what we learned from these amazing stories in chapter 15 of the Gospel of Matthew:

1.Talk and walk Christ (verse 8)
2. Speak the truth no matter what (verse 12)
3. Have Unwavering Faith (verse 28)
4. Stay rooted in Christ (verses 13-14)
5. Feed your heart the right things (verses 18-19)
6. Judge not the outer before meeting the inner. (verses 1-2)
7. Let not tradition determine your salvation. (verses 3-7)
8. Never Forget Jesus’ Abilities (verses 30-38)

If Strait Is the Gate and Narrow Is the Way, Then What Path Are You on to Jesus?

While being in and around, even out of this county, I’ve come to recognize different types of people who claim to be Christian. Through all that I encountered, I’ve come up with 10 types of so called Christians that exist in the world today.

10 Types of So Called Christians
  1. The New Believer: Whenever they hear someone talking about Jesus, they believe every word at face value and have no discernment. 1 Corinthians 3:1-3
  2. The Zealous Christian: They believe they can save the whole world. Romans 10:1-3
  3. Pew Warmer Christian: They come to church, they aren’t involved with anything. The only time they read their Bible is when they are attending Church and the speaker says to turn to a passage of scripture.
  4. The Clone Christian: They talk, act like and otherwise mimic the way a Christian would behave. Proverbs 3:1-6
  5. The Bible Talking Christian: They’re always quoting scriptures to use a anchors for their own philosophies.
  6. The Angry Christian: They’re mad with the world and other Christians
  7. The Sanctimonious Christian: They believe they know Jesus more then anyone.
  8. The “Woe is me” Christian: They’re always depressed, complaining, and unhappy.
  9. The Arrogant Christian: They are always right and they belittle every one.
  10. The Walking Dead Christian: They don’t even know their dead. They have no power, no anointing, no prayer life no direction from Jesus, and can’t hear his voice, because it’s all about then and not Jesus. Luke 6:43-45, Proverbs 14:12

Most people who declare themselves to be a Christian don’t even know what being a Christian is or even what being a Christian means. A lot of people, mimic people they think that are Christian, so as not to be left out by their peers.

24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. 25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. 26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? 27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. 28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

Matthew 16:24-28

You must know there can be no eternal life without your sacrifice. As a true Christian you must deny yourself and your self-will and the controls of this life, whether by people or this worlds philosophy. Take up your cross and follow Jesus.

In my conclusion, I’ll give you this: how can you rise with Him if you were not buried with him? If you were buried with him, how can you be friends with this world and entangled with this worldly life?

1 Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. 2 And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. 3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. 4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier. 5 And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully. 6 The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits. 7 Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things. 8 Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel: 9 Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound. 10 Therefore I endure all things for the elect’s sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. 11 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him: 12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us: 13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself. 14 Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers. 15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. 17 And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus; 18 Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some. 19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. 20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. 21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work. 22 Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. 23 But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes. 24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, 25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; 26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

2 Timothy Chapter 2

So why pretend to be a Christian or Child of God, when you can be the real thing? So if your life is in a sate of confusion, that means you need to seek Jesus now while he may be found an be buried with him so you can go back with him. In other word be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sin. Then shall you receive the gift of the Holy Ghost Acts 2:37-39.

Matthew Chapter 14

John the Baptizer is beheaded for speaking the truth about King Herod’s infidelity, Jesus heals the sick and miraculously feeds over 5000 people, and performs an even greater rarity of walking on water.

John the Baptizer Killed

Through this sad story, we learn that the one who heralded the coming of the promised Messiah, who preached a baptism of repentance, who fulfilled Isaiah’s prophecy of one who would come and make a straight path for God; we learn that this John is tragically and brutally murdered for calling out the infidelity of the then King of Galilee.

Jesus Feeds a Multitude and Walks on Water

At hearing this sad news, Jesus retreats to a private place alone on boat. Arriving to his destination many crowds awaited him. He had compassion on them and healed their sick. This same crowd stayed with him well into the evening hours and his disciples would have sent them on their way, but Jesus still had compassion on them. Performing the miracle of multiplying five loaves of bread and two fish, he feed over 5000 people with more food left to spare!

After this miracle, we see Jesus telling his disciples to get into a boat to journey across the other side of the lake while he dismissed the crowd. Then here again, we see him taking another retreat alone to pray. While the disciples journey, they encountered a torrential storm and Jesus walking on the stormy waters toward them!
