The Effects of the Tree of Knowledge

Do you remember the last time you read a good book that had a good story line with some emotion and heart felt moment as well as touching spiritual moments? As you look back on that book or novel, you remember parts in that book that really challenged your resolve as well as your heart, to the point where there are still lingering thoughts of that story that have left an indelible mark on our soul and life. There were also nuggets of wisdom that we took from that book unknowingly. To some, a book or novel literally changes some of our lives forever. But in this day and age, people are inclined to read novels or books or listen to audio books that will keep their thoughts occupied with hatred, violence, greed, revenge and murder. Coupled with the mass media over the internet and smart TVs and our smartphones, this has lead us down the road of hopelessness, loneliness, and despair, as we put trust in a device than in one on one, bare human interactions. We drift slowly from human interaction and gravitate towards machine interaction. We try so hard to avoid human interaction to where we feel better interaction and relationship with a smart device, instead of a personal one on one. Why? The answer is this: it goes back to the Tree of Knowledge where all deception took place. Lets go to Genesis, and take a look back in the past where it all took place.

1) Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2) And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3) But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. 4) And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5) For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. 6) And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. 7) And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. 8) And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden. 9) And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? 10) And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. 11) And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat? 12) And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat. 13) And the Lord God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat. 14) And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: 15) And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Genesis 3:1-15

Did you see a blaming carrying on? God asked Adam, Adam blamed Eve, then Eve blamed the serpent. Now lets dive into the effects of the tree: As in the book of Genesis 3:1, we see that the serpent said to Eve this statement in a proposed comment observation question: “Do this, do that!” But he proposed a question. Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? He just jigged her to get her to respond to something to set her up to see where her mind was at. He said to her, “you’re not suppose to eat of everything in the garden are you?” Then Eve volunteered the set guidelines of the garden. This is what we do today. Then the serpent goes on to to pick her brain to see were she was at, concerning God’s instructions and weather or not she was double minded concerning her adherence to God’s will and obedience to His words. How do we know that? He just proposed a statement that required a response. “You shall not eat of every tree in the garden,” he said. Then she wanted to explain herself. She’s telling him what they couldn’t do. He’s giving her a challenge, which we don’t realize. The statement required her to respond back with an answer. “You can’t eat of everything in this garden,” wanting her to respond back so he could set her up, wanting to know what her mind was concerning his instructions. Then she tells him the consequence of eating that of the tree. In to verse 2, she began to expound to the serpent. This is how Eve set herself up to second guess God’s word, thereby opening the door for the serpent to give his line of responses. If you’ve ever seen a court trial, they have you swear over the Bible, because they want you to hear yourself. We put ourselves in those positions because of us. She placed herself in a position dealing with a serpent. Everyone thinks the serpent did it to her, but Eve did it to herself. And as we read the following verses after, we see how those events unfold right before our eyes.

It goes something like this: A proposed comment, observation question first. Second Eve set the instruction of who said what to do or not do. She now shows the serpent that she was caught in an indecision or dilemma with the statement that God made about eating of every tree and fruit in the Garden, except the tree in the midst of the garden. In this dilemma she was questioning. Thirdly, Satan begins to set in play his formula of self-doubt, to question God’s instruction and authority. Satan had begun to understand the women very well now. The equation for Eve’s down fall goes something like this: get her to doubt herself then to question Adam, her head, and God’s authority and teaching, thereby leading her into distrusting God’s voice.

The exact same things Satan did to Eve he’s now doing to us. That is why we’re experiencing the effects of the tree. Satan didn’t say anything about the fruit on the tree, all he said was that you will know what He knows. Eve surmised from looking at the one fruit of the tree. Her mind was attached to the fruit thinking it would make her wise like the God that Adam was talking about. This is the same thing Satan does today. He hasn’t done anything, he just gives us suggestions and we run wild with it adding our own thoughts to it.

Seventh verse. The eyes of them both were opened. She shared her dilemma with her husband. What do you think happened after Eve took the fruit in her hand and didn’t die? Adam saw she didn’t die. They questioned God’s authority because they didn’t die. They could see things they never saw before. This led to two individuals falling over one incident. We have to look at it like this. Satan was gone in 3 verses, because from that point on, he had no need to say more. He didn’t force her, he didn’t trick her, he just used her mind against herself. Afterward she heard the voice of Satan saying that she wouldn’t die. This is what Satan leads us down a path of; curiosity. We want to do it, we want to do it, and Satan presents an opportunity for you to do it. He sets you up, to crucify you. As a mater of fact, he doesn’t even set you up, you set your own self up. When she allowed herself to be defeated by herself via a few words from the serpent, she opened her heart to a different frequency. Satan will give you pros and cons, he never tells you the long lasting implications.

Now Satan has planted a seed of disagreement. Now here is Satan waiting to put in the final nail in the coffin. He is doing the same thing today with the body of baptized believers, taking them to the point of mistrusting and questioning their God like he did. As soon as you receive the Word of God, and have got the full understanding of that word, Satan will propose a question to you that will shake your very foundation in God only to make you doubt yourself and your foundational teaching of how to be just a child. The only way to keep you bound to that Eve mentality is to keep you ever learning. Today we see people are so in the pursuit of getting an education of higher learning to the point that some have become professional students. For ever learning but still not come to the truth, Timothy 3:1-7. Satan is constantly pushing us to pursue higher learning no matter what it takes under the same pretense he told Eve you will know like God knows. Satan is trying to keep you from the mind of Christ. You have to fight the signal of Satan, so you can hear God’s signal. Have you ever been praying and suddenly every thought in your mind comes? Satan is drowning you with his signal so you’ll not receive God’s signal. This has been the whole trial from Adam until now, giving you the negative alternative, that sort of mentality that rises up against leadership. You can’t see what God can do for you because you’re listening to what Satan is saying he can do to you. Why do you think people can’t stay faithful and consistent in Church? First of all they come in with a mind of confusion. They don’t know if they should be here or there. Because the signals of Satan are directing them to doing this and that, ever learning, never coming to the truth.

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

1 Timothy 3:1-7

In our walk in Christ, He’s giving us options. Its a chess game. We’re able to move our own selves. This is what we do in our lives. The Lord says if you listen to Me and do what I say, then these things will happen. Satan says if you listen to me and do what I say, these things will happen. Christ offers you something in the future, not now. Satan tried the same approach when Christ came on scene. Are you hungry? Satan tried the Eve thing on Christ. Whisked Him away. “I’ll give you all of this.” For sin to take place in your life, there isn’t a lot of talk. You either do it or not. Eve didn’t waste any time, and we’re doing the same thing over again. She ate and went about her business. She’d already decided in her heart what she was going to do. A lot of times when we go to do something, Satan says he needs to give us a good conducive atmosphere to do it. It was already in Eve’s heart to do that, because why was she by the tree? Satan didn’t summon her.We look at the Adam and Eve story totally different. It was her who decided to sin, that is why the Lord punished her, because He knew the sin before she bit of the tree. When He came in the cool of the evening what happened? He didn’t say hey Eve, but He said hey Adam. So Adam was guilty by being in charge. He allowed that to take place in his garden. You had that authority, but you couldn’t keep the woman under subjection.

Verse 10, Adam said he heard His voice. He said he was afraid because he was naked. God never asked who made him afraid. That means that was something Adam wasn’t to know. He realized he’d let himself and his companion down. He allowed them to be in sin under his authority. He was afraid because he was naked. The Lord says who told you you were naked? Adam hid himself from God. He hid his nakedness from God. “Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?” He hid his sin from God because he knew God would be disappointed in him. Did he tell Eve this or did he address Adam on this? Adam was afraid because he was naked. What is the concept of naked? For you to understand that means that a whole lot of other things have come into your mind. Adam knew better and knew he should have kept his wife under control. He should have taken authority of the serpent. Think of the concept of nudity in their minds. Adam had a baby’s mind; the mind of a child, and so did Eve. She had another mind, it was to do what she desired to do, because she said she saw it looked good.

The race is on for mankind to know like God knows. But that before Adam had a one to one relationship with God he was in tune to God’s frequency so when God would call to Adam, he would answer God quickly and as long as he was in tune with God he was able to be one with all things. Every thing was in harmony. But now Eve began to open herself to another sound which was Satan’s frequency. The frequency of Satan is sometimes a lot stronger because of education because you’re being taught to question everyone and everything and you can’t prove it through the science education then it doesn’t exist. Sometimes knowing is not always a good thing. Knowing may cause some of us to accept the world’s understanding over God’s will.

But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

1 Corinthians 1:27

And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Daniel 12:1-4

Knowledge shall be increased. We’re doing things in technology never before seen in history. We don’t want to be caught not doing the Will of God. The effects of the tree of knowledge are in full effect every day of our lives. The Bible says you can’t live in 2 different worlds; not in the world and the Church at the same time. You have to choose whom you will serve. If you’ll not serve God, serve Satan. You don’t have to hobo your way to hell, just go to hell. We’re getting swayed by the things of this world and life, almost fully persuaded because living for Christ is too stringent, thinking we can’t go out and have a good time. If the ministry doesn’t have anything that would make me feel excited about myself, then I can’t be apart of that. What will you say on the last day?

Don’t Compromise Your Salvation in Worldly Participation

Do you remember when you use to dance, party, listen to the music, and maybe even went to the club? Well to those that participated in such actives, they should know that there is residue of those lifestyles that are still in some of us today, waiting to rear their heads and present themselves when its sees an association of situation or participation. Sin doesn’t have any love, nor does it have any forgiveness and neither does it honor you. The way that you walk will let others know if you are a Child of Yah’shua (Jesus). Sometimes we think that being at a certain place because every body else was going there so you don’t see any harm in being their at the time. For example, going to a bachelor or bachelorette party is ok, but when you look at the meaning of a bachelor or bachelorette party it is only given to celebrate your last time for being free as a single man or women. So family or friends tend to go over board, for instance for male or female bachelor or bachelorette parties, their friends or family usually try to bring infidelity into the marriage, under the concept that this is going to be the last day and chance of your freedom to get some free sex with someone other than your fiancé. They would invite or pay female or male dancers so that they would entice the soon to be married man or woman to commit an adulterous act. The very act of committing adultery is the very thing that is committed in the party.

6) Eat thou not the bread of him that hath an evil eye, neither desire thou his dainty meats: 7) For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.

Proverbs 23:6-7

The ways of the world have been so ingrained in us in so many ways that it has come to a point where we believe that because we’re not to be allowed do the ways of the world, its not fair and to be denied us the same opportunity to do as the world. To some, it would fill that their right has been taken away. I want to be able to do that or do that, to drink, to go out and carouse, because they’re having so much fun. Why did the Lord say we can’t? Why can’t we go out and enjoy ourselves? Why should I deny the opportunity to be fulfilled. It feels like I have the right taken away from me. I would say, “that their right to commit the sins of the world.” Think about all the events that take place in your life. Should you be there, just because a friend or relative said you should? No one can give account of you accept you. If you’re a Child of God, then do what your daddy tells you to do. The Bible says have no dealings with the world. But you say you have to work. Well just because the office is going to the bar after work, doesn’t mean you have to go. I’m just going to help them out. Are Christians designated drivers for when someone is drinking? No, you’re not to validate their drunkenness. If they committed a murder or robbed a bank, would you drive the car for them. Its the same as driving a person from drinking so they can get home. That person needs to understand what the consequences are when drinking. Why do you go to a place where there is alcohol? Because Jimmy will be there? Well Jimmy may slip you a Micky Finn in your drink. The Bible says we’re not suppose to be of that lifestyle. They talk like they’re your friend, but their heart is to make you fall. Sometimes the things in your mind, the curiosities of knowing go beyond the step that it should, and next thing you know, you’re participating in something you shouldn’t.

Another example, is when you become a new dad after having baby, in the world there is the tradition of handing out cigars. This was done for more than 70+ years. In the dictionary it states that its from the American Indian because the only tobacco that was sent back to England was traded by the Indians of the north at that time. A wood carver in England who’d never seen an American Indian before would be contracted by tobacco stores to carve an Indian from America to be placed in front of their store to direct people to where tobacco and cigars were sold. The carver would base his carving of an America Indian from the description he got from sailors back from America. This was seen as an early sign of a smoking advertisement. This in essence was saying that its ok to smoke after having your child. Today we fully know the causes and cost of smoking. Let’s go deeper. When you look at it, it sends a strong message and that massage is the old dying out upon new birth. There is another example of something we have to watch out for in our participation, and that is living together instead of getting married, the later of which is honorable and the bed is undefined.

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching; Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness. Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality. Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

Romans Chapter 12

As you can see that no matter how alone you may feel in your walk you got to know that Jesus will never leave nor forsake you, so stand for what is right when its popular or not even if you are standing alone around others.

The simple believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh well to his going. A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil: but the fool rageth, and is confident.

Proverbs 14:15-16

My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning. Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth. He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now. He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him. But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes. I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name’s sake. I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father. I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one. Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

1 John 2:1-17

We have to be very protective of our walk, not compromising it with worldly participation. You can’t say its alright, its only that one time. How would you feel if the Lord came back on that one time and you were lost? But you only did it one time. How many have ever done something, and the Lord told you not to do it and you felt guilty for that whole day? We’ll do things, and ask Him to forgive us later on. You have to be more understanding and have more vision about what is going on in your walk, not be deterred by things in this life. Love not the world. Count it all joy when you are tested because the test you endure builds up in you true faith and love and also peace and patience in you. And it is so in Jesus.

Your Christian Walk Seen Through Your Eyes, Not the Word

We walk in this Christian walk, but we’re not walking via the Word, but by what we see. When we see and hear what others do, we’re not walking according to the Word, but through others, by our own sight and might.

Have you questioned your walk in life or even your walk in Christ Jesus? To some, this may be a daily occurrence. I’ve questioned my walk so much even on a daily basis because I wanted to know if I was going about it in the right way. I’m always checking myself. As we look back at our daily activities, looking at what we might have said or even did that may not have been the most ideal thing for us at that time. To most of us this time of reflection usually ends up with us wishing we would have never said this or that. Maybe we should have never went to that place or that person’s home in the first place. Sometimes we go by blaming ourselves, calling ourselves out of our name, accusing and attacking ourselves, because we say to ourselves, we should have known better. We attack ourselves severely and don’t have a referee except the Holy Ghost to make us stop. In some way, we tend to let others ever so lightly dictate our walk. We allowed someone to take us there. We allow others so slightly and so delicately dictate our walk, via their worldly knowledge and understanding which causes us to go off-kilter, leading us into a false sense of a salvation. This will ultimately lead you down the road of destruction. Some will say, “why are you dragging me into your situation?” I need somebody to help me instead. Not to sound selfish. We tend to want to tell people leave us alone, but they still want to bother us in their worldly understanding.

There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Proverbs 14:12

By you having them do what they want to do, indirectly or directly, you’re leading yourself down the train of death. We don’t need other people to help us, we need the Holy Ghost to help us. It gets to the point where you only see the Holy Ghost through your understanding that is being dictated to someone around you. If a person doesn’t know and understand, they should not be teaching people. Don’t tell me advice about something you’re not doing. You can’t live what you talk about. Some people say, “Do what I say, not what I do.” Sometimes I have to get away. You can’t see your walk through the Word because you’re too busy distracting me. The best way to help me grow is leave me alone.

On this road of death, you will encounter people who are just as lost as you are. You can’t help each other because what can you tell the other except lies and deceptive understanding? It would be as though the blind leading the blind and as the Bible reads, “they both will fall in a ditch.” If you don’t know and I don’t know, who knows? For example, if you call a taxi and when they arrive, they ask you how to get to the airport, would you continually stay in the taxi, or you excuse yourself and look for someone more competent? For some, they would probably sit there and try to reason the situation so the taxi can get you to your destination, instead of getting out of the taxi and finding the correct taxi that knows the way. Someone says, “Do you know the road to salvation?” How do you take the road to salvation? Friends and family talk to you about things they don’t know about.

But sadly as it is, this what is going on with so man people in the Church today, putting their trust in other people, whether friends or family, following them instead of Jesus Christ out of an emotional tie and so called obligation. They allow that to be their deciding factor for their walk and salvation in Christ, not even allowing the thought to enter their heads or comparing what they say to the Bible. In some ways, some might take the word of their friends or family as the Word’s of God. Some people insinuate others to listen to them because they’re quoting the Word of God. If someone claims to come speaking a word from God for you, it should be a confirmation to you. If its a contradiction, then it tells you they aren’t in God. Your confirmation in Christ will lead you where the Holy Ghost wants you to go.

The Bible clearly tell us to trust in the Lord and lean not unto our own understanding, but acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path. Not your family, not your friends, not your husband, or your wife, but God. If you allow yourself to listen to them and engorge your soul with their understanding, it will slowly take you off kilter. Its because you’re allowing people to put in your soul things that are not of God but of them, and that unrighteousness will come out of you directing your path to the wrong direction.

1.) For I would that ye knew what great conflict I have for you, and for them at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh; 2.) That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; 3.) In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. 4.) And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words. 5.)For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ. 6.) As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: 7.) Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. 8.) Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9.) For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10.) And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

Colossians 2:1-10

What is beguilement? Overwhelming talk to you to convince you that what they say is true fact. The Holy Ghost will bring confirmation of what people are telling you, whether its is a lie or not. A lot of times out of emotional connection, we’ll not listen to the Holy Ghost, but to people instead. The Bible tells us to work out our own salvation, with fear and trembling. You want your soul to be governed by the Word of God, not by the word of man. If you are a Child of God, things are in order. Your understanding is in order. The Pastor won’t give you something at a 4 year grad level if you’re someone in the junior year. The Pastor has to be in order and deliver to you in your level of spiritual awareness. If you are filled up with a lot of mess from other people, you won’t even know how to deal with yourself, let alone other people. If people know you’re an open trash can, what will they do? You’ve seen things that go in garbage cans. Some of it stinks, and the odor rises. That is how you are. You’ll go forth and what is in you will ooze out of you. The Bible says that kind of stuff stinks in His nostrils and you become a walking garbage can. What do you do with garbage you don’t want anymore. Do you keep it in a room and say this is the garbage room? We take it out of our house and toss it, because we don’t like the stench it gives. You shouldn’t like the stench you give if someone is using you for a human garbage can. The garbage doesn’t have to be tangible, but words which produces a spirit of distention and contention. You’re always causing division or always saying no about everything. You are the one who asks the question, “I know the Holy Ghost will lead and guide us but what if we…” As you receive Christ as Lord walk in Him. Not in your friends, family, or bosses will. Don’t walk according to their understanding. Walk in the Word concerning Christ. We walk in other people’s understanding of the Word of God. People will take the Bible and put their words in place of some of the words. The older generation use to say concerning the Bible, “conduct your business like men.” But I quoted it as “from the Bible,” because I allowed myself to be the garbage can for someone who didn’t know. People are constantly interchanging the words of Holy Ghost and Holy Spirit because someone else did it. They didn’t look in the scriptures and see that there is a difference in the scriptures about it. You became a dumping ground for their garbage. People say they are filled with the “Spirit of God,” but I don’t know about you all, but I’m fill with the Spirit of Christ. You think its the same. God had a Son who redeemed us from the grave. What was His name? It was not God it was Jesus. We can’t perceive a God. I don’t have a concept of God, but I know God told me, “I sent My Son back, hear Him.” Why because this one’s going to die for your sins. So when I tell you, they’ve twisted the Word around that you wouldn’t understand that there is only one God, faith and baptism. There is no one on Earth who can die for you, so I have to send Myself down as a Man in flesh form, because I and My Son are One. So when people talk about that’s the Holy Spirit. They will throw out tidbits of something they don’t know. If a person talks to you and they don’t know, they’ll fill you with misunderstand. Its like the blind leading the blind.

Be rooted, built up in Him. Its all about planting. Those who are Children of God are farmers. The Bible says one plants, one waters, but God gives the increase. The seed you plant is going to come up. If its the wrong seed, it will come up jacked up. For every word that comes out your mouth as a Child of God that is incorrect and you put in someone else…Don’t listen to someone’s half baked word of understanding. But if you’re around it, it will find a place to sit and hide. That is why later on in your walk you start stumbling. When you’re full of poison, you’re full of garbage. You’re stumbling because you’re sick from your soul. That is why you can’t think right.

Do you know why Satan plays his music all the time around you? Because he was the angel of music in heaven. Subliminal cuts in a theaters are a prime example of how Satan tricks you. You’re watching a movie and as it plays, right in the middle of the movie you see a cut for popcorn and drinks. We fall for it and buy everything from the concession stand. We fall for it with the Word. Someone gives us a little word, we put that in our bucket, the bucket of our minds. Then you end up using something someone else says that isn’t right. That’s how Satan trips you up in your walk. You’re going along, and Satan’s ready to make you slip.

The Holy Ghost will lead and guide you. Its these phrases that we hear that get us caught up in our Christian walk, but we can’t see it because we’re looking through the flesh of others. Its not of God or the Word, but the flesh. Then we question ourselves and beat ourselves up and call ourselves names. We sound more like the devil to ourselves than the devil himself. Didn’t you realize when he spoke to Eve, he didn’t stay around and try to hang out with Eve. She took the bate. Sometimes we’re not walking into a situation blindfolded, but our eyes are clearly open. Sometimes we do things and say to the Lord that later we’ll ask for forgiveness. We have become the garbage can for other people’s dumping ground. How would you like it if the garbage truck comes to your house, into your room and dumps all the garbage for the day in there? Think about the mess that your bring into your own bedroom. You can’t even lay down properly because so and so is on your mind, and they’ve dumped into you. You don’t need their garbage in you. Walk away. But if you like garbage, you’ll sit there and listen. I don’t care if it is your Mom your Daddy, your sister, your brother; walk away. I don’t need to hear your mess and I don’t need to take it to my chest. Keep your mess off my chest. I don’t need your mess in my heart.

Christ in you is the most powerful thing, because in you dwells the Godhead because you have the Holy Ghost in you. Christ in you is the most powerful thing. That is why Satan is afraid of you so he can keep you confused so you can’t rely on the power within you. The presence of Christ is in us, so we have to be careful not to be the garbage for our family, friends or jobs. Would you throw garbage on Christ? No. Well every time you listen to your friends and family, you throw garbage on the Holy Ghost inside of you.

We must remember that our walk is private and we must walk out our walk by ourselves with the heart of a child, but with the characteristics of an adult. The book of James tells us not to be tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine, even if it’s from friends or family. One is saying this and the other saying that, and the Word of God is in the middle. People saying they know what’s best for you. You have to realize this: God is coming back after us as individuals and won’t have other people with us. If they see you get close to what is going on then they dump in you. Every time you get close to understanding, you get so much negative talk. People will talk about you, and they don’t know whom their working for. If you’re not working for God then your working for the Devil. You have the Holy Ghost, the Son of the living God, living in you. Back then the people of God only relied upon the presence of God around them, but Satan didn’t realize when he killed Jesus, He allowed Jesus soul to inhabit whomever He wanted. If He’s in you, Satan can’t touch you. If you know that, you’ll realize why he tries to destroy you, because he can’t influence you or deceive you.

You need not go to the world or you friends and family on how to walk or live holy. Just go to the Word of God and the true men of God if you need answers to your Christian life and walk. Let read what Ephesians has to say about this:

Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour. But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

Ephesians 5:1-17

God sees in you as a Child of God, the Holy Ghost in you, the presence of God will pop up out of you and He will know you are His child. All those who proclaim to be His child, but the Holy Ghost is not see in them, they are not of God but their father the Devil. How is your walk? You’re seeing your walk through the eyes of others, not through the Word. Your mind and walk should be based on what the Word of God says. People will tell you the Holy Ghost will lead and guide you. There is only the Holy Ghost, there is only the triune nature of God. They want you to get confused, because the Spirit of God dwelled with them but not in them. Its the Holy Ghost, not the Holy Spirit. God’s Son, Jesus said He would seen back a comforter and he said it was the Holy Ghost, not the Holy Spirit. You have to understand when people try to dump in you mess.

I’ll leave you with with the word according to 1 John 2:1-6:

My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

How many times does it talk to you about your walk? Walk in love, walk in His understanding, walk as His child, walk, walk walk. Its your walk in life that is the most important, that you don’t allow anything to disturb.

What is the Way to Jesus Heart?

Most of us who love our Lord Yah’shua (Jesus) try in some way to get closer to Jesus or please Him in some way. However, sometimes we reach a point in our walk where we have hit a wall or come to a precipice in communicating with Him, feeling inadequate and challenged or a bit unsure about whether or not we’re going in the right way or doing the right thing in trying to please Yah’shua (Jesus). Some have tried to please His heart by going with how they feel. This is based on their emotional equilibrium and mental instability in their own personal life. We try to reach out to Christ the way we want to reach out to people, equating Him as we would a human being. But God is a Spirit and those who worship Him or communicate with Him must do so in spirit and truth. We’ve tried to reach out to Him through our personal experience with previous relationships. These relationships may have contained elements of anger hurt or pain; We base our emotions and feelings on how others receive us. We try to worship Christ in the same mindset. Sometimes it leaves us in frustration because we’re not sure if He hears us. Maybe you’re talking through pain, instead of love. We’ll look at the aspect that God is a Spirit and you must worship in spirit and truth and that is how we communicate. But I’m going through. I’m an emotional wreck. Sometimes we get very “extra,” when we talk to the Lord. Instead of just coming to one point in your life where you say, just shut up! You just go on and on and on. We want a connection with our Lord and Saviour that will be unbroken, because He is the only one who can see us in that place where no one else sees. Its usually your mind. No one else can see your mind. You know He can because you feel someone dealing with you spiritually. You ask, there must be a God.

The point is that we try to reach God without really reaching Him. We think we’ve reached Him, but we do so with the wrong number. Have you ever dialed a number that was wrong? Sometimes we do that with Christ. Who are we praying to? If we communicate with Christ, how are we communicating to Him? How do we alert Him that we want to get closer to Him? When do you call on the name of Jesus? When you don’t have money, or are sick, or when someone has taken your phone. We need to know one thing: He’s just a prayer away. Its not just a prayer away. You don’t have to pray to Him to talk to Him. Some people say we have get on our knees and talk to Him. We can talk to Him in any way, but the one thing that we don’t do is that we aren’t communicating with Him. We talk to Him, but He doesn’t communicate to you, because you’re talking to Him. You don’t pick up what their heart is because you’re talking. We dump on the Lord, we upload to Him all the junk and everything and then we feel relieved. Then we leave Him and go on, not even waiting for Him to say anything. We’re so use to social media where we upload. But the Lord doesn’t have a feed like there is on social media. When you go to the Lord, He will hear you if you are down. A lot of us will scream as though He’s can’t hear us. The point is that we try to get close to Him sometimes the right way, but its the wrong way because we used it in the past and thought it worked. We can’t talk to Him like we do our mother, brother, sister or father. Why? They don’t know you like He knows you. So come to Him real, because you can’t hide anything from Him. Be honest with Him and real with Him. Don’t come with a pretend mind, telling Him something, but secretly withholding something else.

This might be stranger then fiction. Maybe you just might be trying too hard. In prayer time, it seems like we have to be broken down, on the ground, worn out; it took you 1 hour of breathing, sweating, snotting and crying to realize that you aren’t any good. We try so hard to get people to hear us that we try doing the same thing with Christ, resulting in failure, though He heard it, but didn’t like the way He heard it. The Bible says surely we should cast our cares on Him because He cares for us. But it didn’t say we should upload to Him and never receive a download. Why do you download the latest version of a software update on your phone? So that it can function properly. So why do you keep uploading to Christ, and never receive a download so you can function properly? The problem is we upload, upload, upload and upload.

1. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2. For by it the elders obtained a good report. 3. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. 4. By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh. 5. By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. 6:But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

Hebrews 11:1-25

Enoch pleased God. Do you want to please God? The first thing you must have is, A) Faith (Hebrew 11:5-25). We ask people everyday to have faith in us. To trust us, to count on us, to love us. We ask this everyday, and Christ asks this to! To have faith in Him. He said have faith the size of a grain of a mustard seed. Just that little amount of faith. When a man and woman marry, they are asking one another to have faith in their relationship, because you are entrusting your heart to that person. You want them to have faith that they’ll give you their heart. Faith is so powerful; to have faith in what you don’t even see. Enoch had so much faith that the Lord took him, and he didn’t see death. Noah had faith that some of us would never have. If someone called you up and told you to build an ark big enough to house every animal in the world what would you do? Noah built for x number of years, even at ridicule from those around. What sort of faith should we have when the Lord tells us to trust Him? B) Obedience is also needed to please God as found Jeremiah 7:21-23. The Bible says obedience is better than sacrifice. How could you go to the Lord and tell Him how great He is and tell Him that you love Him, but don’t do what He asks? Do you want someone to be obedient to what you say to do, or do you just want them to love you? If you love them, you will be obedient to them. Most of the time we tell them we love them, but we also have to show it. The Lord says, “If you love Me, keep My commandments.” We always want someone to prove to us that they do in fact love us. Christ is saying the same thing. Telling Him that we love Him and not showing Him means nothing. The next quality needed to please God is, C) Humility, as stated in James 4:6-10. We all have the issue where we can’t please ourselves let alone please God.

But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

James 4:6-10

D).Love is need to please God. Romans 8:38-39 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:38-39

There is no love. The love of people has grown cold. The lack of love is the lack of faith, obedience and humility. This is why you can’t reach Christ, because if you’re missing one of these attributes, you’ll not grow closer to Christ. You say you have a lot of faith, but faith without works is dead. It all comes full circle to, “If you love Me, you’ll do what I ask.” Many say they love Him and have a personal relationship with Him but they don’t do anything for Him. Faith, obedience, humility and love are the beginnings steps to a way to the heart of Yah’shua (Jesus); to please His heart. Enoch had faith, and inside of that was love, obedience and humility.

David is a example in the book of Acts 13:22 22.) And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.

How can David a murderer and adulter be a man after God’s heart? He knew how to do one thing: ask for forgiveness. He had an issue with obedience, but he worked on it. Some of us don’t even want to work on what we’re going through. Some of us are too busy. We the people of God need to make up our hearts and minds. Are we going to serve God or walk in shadows. Will we walk in the light or in shadows behind the light. The Lord loves those who diligently seek Him. Joshua tells us in Joshua 24:14-15, “Choose ye this day who you will you serve.” And it’s so obvious today that people are struggling with choosing the life in the world and a life in Christ. Others are trying to do both but Christ says you’re either hot or cold. You can’t be both or he’s going to cast you with the cold (Rev.3:15).

When you follow something make sure its the truth. The Lord is very easy. He says just be obedient and have faith in what He says and does, and have humility. Its the same thing we ask in a relationship. I want someone who is loving, humble, has faith in me and obedient. That is all the Lord wants. By you doing that you’ll draw closer to Him. You can commune.

Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother’s righteous.13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.17 But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.19 And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.20 For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

1 John 3:1-24

When Two Worlds Collide Inside of You

We started out on this journey in Christ never really realizing how much of a life of conflict, confrontation and the intensity at which it would display in our lies. We would encounter so many things in our walk in Yah’Shua (Jesus). If you didn’t realize yet, when going through a transformation, there is an actual battle taking place in your mind and body. Its almost like in the horror movie when the young teen is bitten by a werewolf that transforms him into a werewolf. His body begins to congeal and contort into the shape of the very thing that bit him. Now the process the teen was going through came about in him because of the war that was going forth in his body between his human cells and the cells of the invading contaminated werewolf. It’s similar to the same thing we are going through with the contamination of sin. The incoming sin and the internal sin is at war with the move of the Holy Ghost inside of you. We have claimed sin nature as part of our characteristics and try to pass it off as who we are. However, the Holy Ghost is saying no, that is what sin wants you to be. You see that which the sin nature is trying to display and you get confused and think that is a part of your personality. Your sin nature is trying to mold you into a shape of what it wants you to appear to be like before others. We have claimed it to be a part of our characteristics as though that is who you are. No! The sin nature is trying to contort you into a thing of the sin nature, trying to tell you that that is who we are. But the Holy Ghost says that is not who you are. Your sin nature is trying to mold into the shape of what it wants you to be before others, to fool you into a false sense of security so you’ll get satisfied in that state. Holy Ghost says that isn’t the way He designed you. With the Holy Ghost in you and sin nature in you, they’re warring against each other on a daily basis, sometimes on a moment by moment basis. How many have been sitting alone, then all of a sudden a demonic thought pops up? Why? The sin nature is trying to be eradicated out of you, but rears its ugly head up. Why? The Holy Ghost is rooting out all that mess that has been in your for years that hid itself.

David said purge me with hyssop. Hyssop is a rough bush with short branches that have a byproduct that is used to clean out things. David said wash me Lord, clean me with hyssop. It was known to scrap things off really well. Scrap all that stuff off of me. Wash me and I’ll be whiter than snow. He wasn’t talking about his outer-man, but his soul. Do you know your soul picks up things like a magnet? How many are familiar with neodymium magnets? They are very strong. You can’t put it to any metal with your hand between it, or you’ll get hurt. Your soul is like a magnet, picking up anything not like it simply because its there. We have to make sure that whatever we’re around is not bad or evil, because our souls will gravitate toward it. David says make me to hear joy and gladness. How many volunteer to hear bad news all the time? No one. Create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit in me. Why would he say that? That old heart is jacked up and doing things it shouldn’t, so give me a new heart and renew my soul within me so I’ll be able to do what? A lot of times when we talk to the Lord, we don’t talk to Him with the right spirit or mindset. Our soul is not talking, rather our flesh is, but we continue to say the same thing to Him like a broken record. How many like listening to a broken record? How do you think the Lord feels about us constantly coming to His face about it? Yet He’s merciful, loving and kind, and continues to listen.

7)Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. 8)Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. 9)Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. 10)Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. 11)Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. 12)Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. 13)Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.

Psalms 51:7-13

In this process of being cleaned and transformed your going to encounter things about yourself that you never new existed in you, some good but a lot bad, ugly and nasty that you don’t want to own up to. Also stuff in you that you always knew was there but tried to ignore it, hoping that it wouldn’t be revealed and that it would hide itself away in the dark recesses of your subconscious mind never to be seen or heard of ever again. There are things about you that you don’t want anyone to know, so you try to push it out of your face. Everything that you try to push away has a way of coming to the surface in your life. A situation brings it up. You can’t even pray right, when you aren’t right. You can’t reach Him because there is something blocking that communication you have with Him.

The Word of God tells us that the battle we are going through may seem overwhelming and daunting, but the battle is the Lord’s. Know this, we should gather up our resolve and our wits about ourselves and put on the full armor of God and prepare for battle, knowing that we are not wrestling against flesh and blood.

And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the Lord unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.

2 Chronicle 20:15

Sometimes you have to take a step back out of you and look at the battle God has you in because its trying to cleanse you. Haven’t you noticed that certain things people say to you or certain ways people treat you bring a certain resolve out of you that you didn’t know was there? Being in a battle tends to bring out all those attributes and elements you didn’t know you had inside of you. You thought you were a reserved individual, but you get in a battle and never know what you’ll do in a battle. That battle is with sin in your life. A lot of times you win, sometimes you don’t. Sin tries to maintain a hold on you so you can’t reach your goals in Christ. The two worlds of Sin and Salvation are warring inside of you. Sin doesn’t want to give up, because sin is attached to your emotions. If you’re bound by something, sin has you bound and doesn’t want to let go. Keeping you bound is keeping you from your destination. Satan isn’t trying to defeat you, but slow you down. Its like the proverbial salesman comes into your house to sell you a car. He describes every aspect of what is already your car. He gets you confused about things so he can trick you. Look what Satan did to Christ, taking Him to the highest pinnacle of the temple. All of the land he showed Him he said could be His. Salesmen know how to get you to buy a car. How many walk into a store vowing to only get one thing, but when you leave you come out with a whole grocery list worth of items. Satan will bring you into a situation where you’ll take this sin, that sin and a little of that sin because its there. He’s giving it to you at a discount. You didn’t know there were discount sins? He even has free sins.

The battle is not yours its the Lord’s. He’s trying to create in you a clean heart. He’s trying to renew your spirit. People intentionally try to get on your bad side. Does anyone here have a bad side? How many buttons does it take to get to that bad side? We have a point that we’ll reach called the point of no return. You’re fed up with someone, then you start thinking evil thoughts about that person. That is how quick Satan will drag you down, and the sin was free and discounted. Discounted one’s are real good because you try to get it. Others costs, but Satan will get it to you at a bargain price. We all like discounts don’t we? A lot of people are attached to something that says sale. Satan knows what you are weak about in your walk, and he will put something there knowing you’re going to go for it for you to make that same mistake over and over again. Satan wants to delay you. If can delay you he has you.

When we get into a battle, don’t we prepare by getting armored up, bullet proof this and helmet that? But when we get ready to fight against sin in our lives, we don’t do that. But the Bible tells us to do this:

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

Ephesians 6:12-14

We don’t prepare for battle. When you get up in the morning and stand on the floor, are you prepared for battle? No. We go through routines. Routines in your life have caused your life to go down hill. When you get up in the morning, the first thing you should say is “Lord I’m going into battle.” How about making sure you have the word in your mind and heart? If you can, put a list of scriptures together, put 10 scriptures together that you love and say them in the morning. You need to have power scriptures. Look at your power scriptures. Whatever it is post it, so before you walk out of the door, say each and every last one of them before you walk out of the door. The more and more you do that, your heart will change. These are set armors, having the Word of God before you. The Word that you speak will travel before you get to your location. You’ve spoken a word of protection. You will feel awesome and better about yourself. How many even say scriptures? Understand the context of what’s going on. You’re putting on your armour. The Word is your armour. This is what the Children of God should do on a regular basis. Get the most powerful scriptures. No weapon formed against me…I can do all things through Christ…working together with others for God’s purpose. Get scriptures that will be a powerful force in your life, before you leave out of the house and go into the world. You know that everywhere you go, there is a spirit waiting out there for you, and they will get on you. A spirit doesn’t have to get inside of you to possess you, a spirit can possess objects. You take the objects home and that spirit will go with you. If you go into a foreign country, don’t buy souvenirs, because you don’t know who made that device or whose had hands on it. Satan know that. That is true when you buy souvenirs from this country too. Just because its American doesn’t mean its safe. Don’t pick things up you don’t have any clue about. You’ve got to be careful.

Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you.

1 Peter 4:12

As people we must remember this one thing if you can’t remember any thing else and that’s in the book of Colossians 1:25-27, “Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God; Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Colossians 1:25-27

You have Christ in you, those who are the saints of God. So when you go and buy something at the store that is not right, you’re saying God would buy that. When you go and clock someone, and knock them out, you’re saying God will do that. When you’re violent toward someone, when you talk about someone, lie on someone, missuse them, if you are wrong, you’re saying Jesus is like that. We say that Christ is in us right? We’re saved right? Your hope in Him is Christ being in you, and with Him being in you, you won’t be able to sin.

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Ephesians 6:13

When you see no hope, just stand. Put your trust in God. It works. Just stand. Amen.
