What Music Means to God & satan Part 1

It’s been an over 40-year journey dealing with music. I’ve played music in the Church for over 40 years, I’ve seen all types of things done, antics played in music in the House of God. I’ve played professionally for over 30 years for different individuals. I’ve been out in the entertainment industry, watching bright and upstanding talent come forth, watched the skills of some of the talent out there. Impeccable skills. I can only say that the gift of all these abilities that I’ve seen in young men and woman today are God given gifts. These gifts come without repentance (Romans 11:29). These individuals have the ability to sing and play because of the gift of God. Of all the times I’ve seen and heard and been around musical influence, the Lord gave to me 4 things. These I’ve observed with music that Satan does not want you to know or understand the power behind. Those 4 things that music and vibration do are:

1)  Express

2)  Effect

3) Expect

4) Empower

The 4 E’s, I call them!

Express

Express of expression means that what’s going on inside of you is being expressed on the outward part of you whether through music or song. So it exudes what is actually going on inside of them, then they begin to manifest it through their music or song. So you really can tell what a persons soul is being changed into by what music they listen to or play. Some individuals say they get their best inspiration from writing music or writing songs when they are unhappily or excited. Their best work has come from those types of emotion. So the music that an individual plays or sings comes from deep inside their being.

Effect

Music from musician effects individuals around them. It will cause a person to be happy, sad, confused. Music or vibration bring about an effect in the individual’s soul, body, and mind. Knowing that whatever is in the individual playing or singing will transfer from them, into the listening individuals. If you ever notice in some of the older movies, they would play certain songs that would bring a sense of melancholy, joyous expectation of a loving romance, a victorious win of a battle, or a happy outcome of a situation. It effects an individuals soul.

Expectation

Music or vibration brings a sense of expectation. If you ever notice any of the 1920’s movies/films, they weren’t talking movies. You could hear no words or songs being sung. But they always had a pianist sitting at the front of the theater, playing music with the movie as it played. I’ll never forget the famous movie when I was a kid looking at reruns of a black and white movie, about Penelope Pitstop who was about to be run over by a train and Dick Dastardly was the one who placed her on the track. The audience would yell at the screen for her to get away, then the villain would come on the scene. There was music played with a lot of base and treble at the same time. When they would show the heroine laying on the railroad track, they’d play music with a lot of treble, and hardly any base to show helplessness, expectation, showing the train coming, its smoke going up in the air. So you were in expectation questioning if the train would run over the heroine, and the villain gets away. What would be the outcome? It all was delivered by the accompanying pianist in front of the theater. Or in another movie with the vampires, blood sucking individuals, behind the door, and the unexpected individual walking through would never suspect what was about to happen. But the audience knew because of how the piano player play the villain music. Some of the more recent movies like Jaws where the shark would be swimming off distance, the girl swimming in the ocean. The only thing you saw was the pectoral fin of the shark in the distance, swimming around. You never saw the sharks body, just the fin. Then you’d hear the famous sound “dun da dun da dun da dun.” Automatically you correlated shark fin, girl swimming in the ocean means that she was out of there. The audience would be expecting the end for her. Then we get emotionally affecting, expressing ourselves by jumping, screaming, and speaking to the screen. Then, everyone would be in expectation of the outcome of that girl.

Empower

Music empowers an individual. You hear people playing music at a concert. It gives you the energy to think you can overcome anything. You hear the sound of the trumpet in the background, summoning you to charge or attack as in calvaries, as in war. It gives you a command to do something that you wouldn’t normally do, but you have been given the empowerment through the sound of music. When the Children of Israel were going through the promised land, they would literally scare their enemies to death by the sounds that they made, 2 Samuel 5:24. When we see the walls of Jerico, as the Children of Israel marched around the walls for the last time, they shouted and blew all the instruments and they were empowered by God to defeat the walls of Jericho and destroy the whole city, just by sound and vibrations, voice did the walls crumble.

We must remember one thing and always understand, that music tells a story without a voice being spoken. When we understand that music stirs up God. The Bible says that the angels in heaven sing and cry holy, holy around the throne, Isaiah 6:3. The Lord looks for the voice and singing all the time. It’s around Him all the time. If we don’t understand this, then we need to know, music sends a petition up before God of what we are going through. Because the petition contains an expression, effect, and expectation so that He would empower us to go forth in Him. So, know this, that those things that God expects from his people, Satan desires the same thing. He wants the people of God, and the world to give him the 4 E’s. People who play music or sing songs that don’t give God the glory, then they are giving satan the glory and he will effect them thorough their soul, and he will only give them nothing like he gave eve, so don’t expect anything from him. David said in the book of Chronicles and Psalms, to send him the chief musician, the skilled musician. David wanted people to know that you can’t give God just any kind of music or song, but you’ve got to give Him that which is skillful. That will show the expression of your inside, that would effect God’s emotions or heart toward you so that you’ll be in expectation from God to empower you to go forth in the world of sin. David would play skillfully himself. When Saul was bothered by demons and stressed, he would send for David to play the harp, with skill so that evil spirit would leave Saul. He understood there were certain notes and vibrations needed to be played to deliver an individual from the torment of demonic possession or demonic attack. After David would play his harp, Saul’s spirit would be calm. In Chronicles 6, david always had skill.

In this age we live in, we pay skilled musicians to come into our edifice to play music and sing among our Church’s. So we have hired the unsaved to usher the saved before the throne of God and to play worship and praise music in the House of God, and they don’t understand about God or Holy Ghost, nor being a Holy Ghost filled musician. They are being hired to perform a job. It’s a job to them. I ask you, do you want an unsaved individual trying to usher in the presence of God, who doesn’t know anything about the Holy Ghost, being filled or being anointed? Or do you want someone to take you into the presence of God, to be an anointed skill musician? Because if you’re hired, you’re no more different than someone hired to play music in the word. If you’re skilled at the things in the world, then you’re skilled on the things for Satan, and the people around you will give Satan praise. Instead of them expecting the Holy Ghost to effect them, the only effect they’ll get is from Satan, empowering them to do even more evil. Do you want a musician skilled in the things of the world to play in your place of worship to God? It’s an oxymoron. They come into the house of God saying they’ll bring you into the presence of God, but what they’re actually doing is giving praises to Satan. They’re doing and playing the same things they play in the world because that is all they know. What is the difference? Skillful musicians in the world excite your emotional being. Skillful anointed musician in the house of God bring you into the presence spiritually before God.

If any Pastor allows hired musicians or worldly unsaved musicians or praise singers to continue to conduct their praise and worship service, it’s like asking an evil spirit to bring you into the presence of God. Then that spirit is going to steer you away from the presence of God and right into the arms of Satan. That is why you hear these hired praise and worship musician’s and singers will play and sing songs prevalent in the world. That reinforces Satan’s hold of bondage on you. So instead of you being set free in the presence of worship and praise, you’re bound even more. Haven’t you ever wondered why those musicians after the praise and worship is over they never stay? They go to the back of the Church, working their way to leave. They’re hired skilled musician, they don’t want to hear the Word of God. But then you turn around and pay them from the House of God for a service rendered. You take that which is holy and give to a dog. You take the tithes and offerings of that assembly and give it to a hirling who will take it and use it for Satan purpose. Did you ever realize that that musician just got through standing guard in your place of worship so that the Holy Ghost can’t come in to deliver the people and restore people and you paid him for it? If it goes on long enough, then God is suffering to put Iccobode on the door of your ministry, which means the glory of God has departed, 1 Samual 4:19-22 when the Ark of Covenant was stolen by the Philistines. There is a difference between a hired musician and an anointed musician. If God gave you the gift freely, I dare you to pimp that for money, why would you go an pimp it back, selling it to God? You should be stripped, or just play in the world. Satan was aware of that when he was in heaven, so he understands what touches the heart strings of God, the notes, the sounds, and what causes the atmosphere to change. In order to keep the people of God from moving into God’s presence, Satan has allowed his hirlings to go into the House of God to block the music so the people of God will not be healed and restored. Selah.

Redeemed for His Glory’s Sake

Isaiah 53: 5-8, 55:1-12

Isaiah 53: 1-8

Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?  For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.  He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.  But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.

Even though He was tortured, accused abused, mistreated, beaten; and through all that the only thing that was on His mind was us. His ways are not like our ways. When we look at a situation and say Lord, why has this not ended yet, why don’t you cut this person off because they’ve mistreated me, I’ve been treated so bad, Lord smite them with disease and pestilence. We say that in our heart, but the Lord wants us to know this one thing: we look at things one dimensionally and that dimension is present tense. The Lord not only looks at the present, He looks at the future, the effect in 3D concerning everyone involved and what will be the repercussion in the future. We can only see in 1D. He looks at the 3rd and 4th dimensions of requests that we make upon Him. He looks at what will happen from this generation to that generation. Will it benefit His glory or your temporary emotion? God just doesn’t do things selfishly for an individual, it has a bearing and effect on others. So He will make sure that the conclusion He comes to will meet His glory, not your selfish unrighteousness. When you look at a certain situation that has transpired in your life, you look at it one way “what will give me my immediate gratification of revenge?” Making us satisfied. Whereas Christ looks at if far beyond that. Because what we may say will affect someone else who may be used for His glory in the future. He has to make sure it won’t effect anything, if it does, it will result in meeting the cry of His saint as well as meeting the needs of the future saints or plans. As Spock from Star Trek says “the cries of the many outway the needs of the few.” We have to learn to stop dealing with a situation or asking for something from Jesus in a 1D mind. We have to ask for things that basically are not going to cause someone else to falter. That is why we must say Lord if it’s thy will let it be. We have to make sure that it’s not about us, it’s about Him. That is why it said in the scripture: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed, Isiaiah 53:3. Can we say redeemed for His glory?

Isaiah 55:1-11

Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness. Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David. Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people. Behold, thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not, and nations that knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the Lord thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee. Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

We think in 1D, Christ thinks in 3D. He is looking and understanding the result of what is done. That is wy He died upon the cross, He told you that He was dying for you, for the generations to come, those that you don’t understand. His thoughts are not like our thoughts neither His ways. He says that over again because when we make a determination about things, it’s about quick gratification for ourselves, but He looks at the present tense, future, what generation it will effect, will it cause trouble, way before you’ve ever got the thought out yourself. He will not do something that will cause danger, but with bring Him glory. Jesus says what He says has to be final. It has to meet the requirement of all that He sees. When He makes a statement, He makes a statement that spans all time. When He makes a judgment, He makes a judgment that spans all time. We only make a judgment that meets our immediate desire, immediate gratification. In other words we’re selfish. We only care about us, because the only thing we see is us. Thank grace for God, because His mercy endures forever.

How many times have you made a determination, not worrying about the effect later on? We’ve done this without thinking about the consequences in the future, that will immediately shut down our minds, so we will feel the immediate need taken care of. The repercussions of our actions could cause someone to never know who God is, could cause someone or some family to never know the love of God. Have you ever thought about that? That is why its so important that we say if it be Your will Lord. For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands, Isaiah 55:12.

Know this, if you don’t want to do something that is out of the will of God, make sure that you ask Lord if its thy will. Understand that if God doesn’t get the glory, then who does? Remember, we are redeemed for His glory’s sake, in Jesus Name.

Who are You In Bed With?

Isaiah 13:1-22, The Time of the End of New Babylon

The US has been deemed the New Babylon because of the sin and degradation of its society and the human emotional involvement, plus the vial effect of men and woman and their reprobate affections towards each other 2 Timothy 3:1-9.

The question you need to ask yourself is who are you in bed with? If you’re in bed with any individual, you tend to take on a serious relationship with that individual. Before you can get to the part where you are in bed with them, you must have had some kind of intimate relationship with them, a mental relationship and possibly even a physically relationship. There is no such thing as saying I don’t know whom I was in bed with. When you look at the whole big picture something drew you into that bed, looking from a natural sense. Whether the look in their eyes, shape of their bodies, financial or physical attraction, something drew you into that bed. For you to go as far as being in bed with that person, place or thing, you would have had to have let go of who you are to allow them into your personal and intimate space. I say again, who are you in bed with?

In this day and age, we look at the different countries, the different dilemmas, and fightings abroad and wonder who is causing all of this turmoil. We find out this country or that country is in cahoots with each other; they are allies. That is a key word: Ally. So whoever you are in bed with they have become your ally. So you are in agreement with them. Where a man’s treasures are, there lies his heart  Matthew 6:19-21. Who are you in bed with? The different countries around the world have been in bed with each other. If you remember Babylon that great city, in league with the nations around them, the Chaldeans, doing what they do best, corrupting, destroying, lying, warring with nations nearby to gain control of the natural resources, cheating for the benefits of the wicked men who were in power. Using their armies to overthrow other nations, not for the benefit of their country, but for the benefit of those who were in charge of the country. Some of us even say that “I love the Lord,” even to the point of saying “He heard my cry,” but they are in bed with Lucifer, the devil. When you point these things out that they are locked into in their lives that point to Satan rather than God, they will fight you, talk about you, dog you out, do everything possible to attack you because you showed them the truth, and allowed them to see really who they are in love with. The Bible says you are known by the fruits that you bear. I ask you who are you in bed with?

The older generation used to say if you lie down with dogs, you’ll wake up with flees. The flea doesn’t know the difference, it just looks for blood. Satan doesn’t care if you are a man, woman, child or baby, he does not care if you are saved or not saved, Satan says that he is looking for whom he may devour. When the Sons of God came before God, and Satan was among them, He asked Satan where he’d come from, and Satan said to and fro in and out from among the earth. Seeking whom he may devour Job 1:6, 2:1-2.

Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. 1 Peter 5:5-7.

As you are in relationship with whatever has occupied your time, your focus and your heart, that is who you are in bed with. That is who or what is going to control your emotions, your wellbeing, your heart, and will affect your goals and your purpose in life. So, you can’t serve two masters, so if you are in bed with Satan then you must hate the Lord or despise Him. Somehow you don’t like what the Lord is doing for you. The bible tells us a double-minded person is unstable in all his ways. Make up your mind. If you love the lord serve Him, if not serve satan. The Word of God tells us you are either hot or cold. In the Bible, it says I wish you were either hot or cold. Revelation 3:14-15.

You can’t serve two masters, you’ll either love the one or despise the other or visa versa. Who are you in bed with?If you love this world, whether it’s this country of whatever country it happens to be more than you love the Lord, then whatever you are a part of, you will love them and you will hate the Lord. So whatever punishment comes upon that nation will come upon you as well. It goes back to say one of he sermons I preach earlier, Reaping and unwanted harvest.

Reaping an Unwanted Harvest

Galatians 5:25-26, 6:1-18

If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another. Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself. But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. For every man shall bear his own burden. Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things. Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. Ye see how large a letter I have written unto you with mine own hand. As many as desire to make a fair shew in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ. For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh. But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God. From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus. Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.

Galatians 5:7-8 Every man should bear his own burden.

If someone has a problem or burden and we take upon ourselves to listen to it or absorb it, then we will take on that process or that burden that individual is going through. When we do that, whatever results that individual gets from their burden, will also be given to you. When it says in the 8 verse, For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; If we allow ourselves to be affected by what someone says or acts or lives, then of those circumstances, we will reap the reward of those actions or circumstances, thereby reaping an unwanted harvest.

Galatians 6:7 God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. There is no question about it. If you allow yourself to be dragged into someones else’s mess, then their mess will be your mess. Whether family members, friends, working companions, business partners…we see it all the time. When people get together and start gossiping about someone else, whether it’s their marriage or living style, it usually winds up that they encounter the same thing in their own life and walk. Reaping from something that was not your business, will cause you to fail in God. The harvest that you received from someone else mess, you can’t deny it will be your mess; your harvest. So don’t get mad with God. The reaping that I’m saying is the reaping of sin.

If a brother or sister is going through growing pains of their Christian walk, we who are the Children of God should be more patient and understanding because we have been through. You can bear one another’s burden because you know what it takes to go through. Be there for them. But do not, do not take upon yourself, the sin burden of their walk.

We are not to judge the individual who is reaping the harvest from their mistake. It says in the book of Matthew 7:1-2 Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

So often are we captivated by someone else’s misery that we tend to forget that anyone can be overtaken in a fault. So do not point your finger, do not criticize, do not ostracize those individuals who are reaping an unwanted harvest. Know this that where your treasure is there will your heart be also (Matthew 6:21).

Don’t allow someone else’s bad crops to become your harvest. Don’t reap someone else’s mess.
