What Are the Attributes of Life to Please God?

First, let’s look at the word ‘attributes’, what does that mean?

Attributes: “A quality or feature regarded as a characteristic or inherent part of someone or something.”

Now let’s take a look at the attributes of pleasing God. In order to operate in the deed or participate in the act of an action of that understanding, one needs to comprehend the full meaning and understanding of that statement presented. So the statement “Please God/Yeshua/Jesus”, let’s also look at the first word ‘please’. The word please means to take ones own wishes into consideration in deciding how to act or proceed, where the word ‘one’ can be replaced with the word God, Yeshua, or Jesus. So, the word please in this sentence would refer to the object of the statement, which would be God. So the meaning of the word please would read as follows: “To take God’s own wishes into consideration in deciding how to act or proceed in life.” For example, let’s look at Enoch.

Turn in your Bible to Hebrews 11:1-6:

1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good report. 3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. 4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh. 5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

So, from these verses, what are the attributes that we can gain? The attributes would be:

1. Faith

2. Belief on God

3. Hope

Now these are some of the attributes that we found first, now let’s turn in your Bible to Ephesians 2:7-10:

7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Out of these versus we get these attributes:

4. Grace

5. Kindness

6. Walk

Now let’s turn to Mark 9:22-29

22 And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us. 23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. 24 And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief. 25 When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him. 26 And the spirit cried, and rent him sore, and came out of him: and he was as one dead; insomuch that many said, He is dead. 27 But Jesus took him by the hand, and lifted him up; and he arose. 28 And when he was come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, Why could not we cast him out? 29 And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.

From these versus we can deduce these attributes:

      7. Compassion

      8. Prayer

      9. Fasting

As we move on, let’s look at Matthew 15:22-28:

22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil. 23 But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us. 24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 25 Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me. 26 But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it to dogs. 27 And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table. 28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

So, from these versus the one key attribute worth a cause to action in Yeshua Jesus is:

      10. Worship

So, now we have 10 of the most important attributes of how to please God/Yeshua/Jesus.

In my conclusion, listen to the true voice of God, follow the attributes and you can please God. Thank you and bless the name of our God.

The Impatient Heart Will Drive You Away from Yeshua’s Heart

How many times, you being impatient, caused you to make the wrong decision in life? How many times has your impatience made you come to the wrong conclusion about someone or something? How many of you have turned away from the truth due to the lack of patience to wait to hear from Yeshua Jesus? These are not so much as questions, as they are more indictments to the followers of Christ. Every mistake or indiscriminate decision you have made, or the outcome you have experienced, came not always being tied to others or demonic influence. Why can’t we ever take full responsibility for the lack of patience and faith in Christ? To some, they may say that it was the circumstances that happened in life that caused them to be where they are today.

In the Word of God, in the book of Philippians 4:5-8:

5Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. 6Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

There are four attributes of the impatient mind that you should be on the look out for:

  1. Curiosity of the heart & mind
  2. Self awareness of one’s free will
  3. The willingness & openness to receive understanding from any source
  4. Letting down your guard to your mind & soul

Let’s turn to James 1:12-21:

12Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. 13Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: 14But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. 15Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.16Do not err, my beloved brethren. 17Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.18Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.19Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: 20For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. 21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.

In my conclusion, even in the last days before His coming, we are to be patient.

Let’s read Luke 21:12-19:

12But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name’s sake.13And it shall turn to you for a testimony. 14Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer: 15For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.16And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.17And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake.18But there shall not an hair of your head perish. 19In your patience possess ye your souls.

I thank you all for taking the time out to hear me.

What’s in Front of You That‘s Keeping You From Reaching Christ?

Often times we go through things in our natural walk in life that tend to put constrains on our emotional state of mind, there by leading us into physical incapacity. Sometimes that physical and mental incapacity will lead to a damaging effect on our psyche, or in other words our soul. An incapacity in your soul will ultimately setup a instability in your life-walk which contains your natural and spiritual walk (Flesh & Soul). I’m not trying to sound so philosophical, I’m just want all of you to know that cleaving to the things and the affair and emotions of you life-walk will leave you with an uncertain and confused understanding of yourself and others. Needlessly to say, it will lead to a disjointed relationship with Jesus Christ. Follow me as I cover a few things that are common among human beings first, then I will address people of God the “true Christians” last.

HUMAN:
A. Cares of this worldly life. Example: P.M.S. “ power, money, sex.”
B. Prideful heart and mind, with no humility
C. The Idolatrous mindset. Example: the mind that is quick to worship something before having an understanding
D. A faithful refusal to accept the truth because of subjugation

In the Bible, Christians:
A. Walking as a Christian without knowing or understanding what the will of Jesus is for them.
B. Moving in zeal and not in authority.
C. Lacking in faith with little patience.
D. Lots of or lack of fire but no fuel.

Proverbs 3:5-14 reads:
5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. 7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.
8 It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones. 9 Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:
10 So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine. 11 My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD;
neither be weary of his correction: 12 For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth. 13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.
14 For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver,
and the gain thereof than fine gold.

So if you are holding onto things or people in this life, then this is like standing with one foot in the fire and the other water. It’s your choice, whether it be you all in or you all out. It time to choose. The Word of God says choose you this day who you will serve.

In my conclusion let’s read Colossians 3:1-16

1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. 5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: 6 For which
things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience: 7 In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them. 8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. 9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; 10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: 11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision,
Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all. 12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness
humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; 13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. 14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. 15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye
thankful. 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

It is So in Jesus Name.

How Far Are You in This World or is the World in You?

One might ask, “When am I in the world or of the world?” The Bible states that so a man thinks in his heart so is he. How many people hear the sound of my word today with a stable mind and heart which is not controlled by their emotions? Have you ever begun speaking with someone and noticed that as you were speaking they looked to be preoccupied with something else on their mind? It’s almost as though the lights are on, but no one is home. Sometimes I believe the Lord looks at us this way as well. We are sometimes so preoccupied with self that we can not hear His voice or see Him moving in situations or in the atmosphere.

9 And he said unto them, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. 10 And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable. 11 And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: 12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them. 13 And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables? 14 The sower soweth the word. 15 And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts. 16 And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness; 17 And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word’s sake, immediately they are offended. 18 And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word, 19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

Mark 4:9-19

In these verses when you’re preoccupied with things in your life, you may inadvertently tune out Christ. When He tries to talk to you with the simple things, if you’re preoccupied with your life, how will you ever hear Him in the deep things? You see, when you have locked yourself into this world, you won’t know how deeply rooted into the world you are.

What does it read in the 19th verse again of Mark 4? “And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.”

Not with standing you might want to ask yourself how far have you gone or how far are you willing to go in this world?

3 Be not desirous of his dainties: for they are deceitful meat. 4 Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom. 5 Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven 6 Eat thou not the bread of him that hath an evil eye, neither desire thou his dainty meats: 7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.

Proverbs 23:3-7

You have to remember Christ wasn’t of this world and neither should we be (John 17:16.) With the advent of so many things going on in our lives these days, where does your hope and treasure lie?

30 He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad. 31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. 32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come. 33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit. 34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. 35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

Matthew 12:30-35

Always know an understand this, if your more preoccupied with this life and the cares of what going on around you, then ask how far am I in?

Are You a Surface Person, Living Selfishly

In this world today, people are pampering the weakness in their life instead of pursuing Christ. In these last days the men, women, and children will become selfish and disobedient, heady, lovers of unnatural affections for the opposite sex and warmongers.

The narrative of this planet reads like a sci-fi novel with a horrible end where everybody dies. The heart of man has waxed worse and is full of self-indulgence of the flesh.

1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

2 Timothy 3:1-7

The seventh verse of this chapter sums up this day and age. Man is always in search of new things, be it of the human body or technologically in the field of electronics or exploring deep space. Man is forever trying to find out how our Creator made things, but never what man’s purpose is or how to live according to God’s will and with their fellow man. The people of this age seem to have but one thing on their mind, and that is a life of self-indulgence. What’s even worse is that this way of thinking has found a home in the House of God where the lust of the mind has become common place among the so called Saints of the Lord. They’re backstabbing each other, down playing the significance of each other’s ministries, lording over God’s people, doing and saying all types of evil in their presence, and jockeying for positions of authority among the people of God. In this generation, we call that kissing up to the head; sometimes doing whatever it takes to get a leader to validate that they are somebody; somebody to listen to in Christendom so they can gain fame and a bank full of dead hypocrites, at the cost of destroying their brothers and sisters in Christ.

1 From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? 2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. 3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. 4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. 5 Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy? 6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. 7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. 9 Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. 10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up. 11 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge. 12 There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another? 13 Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: 14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. 15 For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. 16 But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil. 17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

James 4:1-17

So as you can see this world and the Church has slipped into a mind of selfishness and flesh with no regard for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and his crucifixion an resurrection. In my conclusion, remember this: if you didn’t get anything else we talked about, in this life, its not about you, its about Jesus Christ and His will for your life. In Jesus name, it is so!
