Time, Time, We Have So Little, So Stop Idle Wasting It!

Most people in the world today are too busy chasing down time trying to find out where it lives. Only having to find out, that they had been wasting time. We all are guilty of this by using some of these catchy phases for example you may have heard of some of them:

A. Well if you don’t know, then your wasting my Time
B. Can you tell me the Time
C. Quit sitting around wasting your Time
D. Why are taking your Time
E. Just don’t just keep lagging behind dragging your foot

These are but a few statements that we say throughout our lives to one another and sometimes in a good light or in a bad light. In any case, we need to stop wasting time looking for time. One thing that all of you should take note of is that while trying to find some, or as others might say “make time,” time will play a loop on you. In other words, while trying to find time or make time for a thing is that “time” has a few friends who love to tag along. Time’s friends are:

  1. Side track
  2. Lost track
  3. off track
  4. Idle track

Now when time’s three little friend show up, each one of them wants to take you for a ride. Well enough of us wasting time talking about time, let’s see what the Word of God has to say about time and being idle

Ecclesiastes 11:3-10 (KJV)
3 If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth: and if the tree fall toward the south, or toward the north, in the place where the tree falleth, there it shall be. 4 He that observeth the wind shall not sow; and he that regardeth the clouds shall not reap. 5 As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all. 6 In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good. 7 Truly the light is sweet, and a pleasant thing it is for the eyes to behold the sun: 8 But if a man live many years, and rejoice in them all; yet let him remember the days of darkness; for
they shall be many. All that cometh is vanity. 9 Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment. 10 Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh: for childhood and youth are vanity.

As human being we don’t have that long of time up on this earth.

Psalms 90:7-11
7 For we are consumed by thine anger, and by thy wrath are we troubled. 8 Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret sins in the light of thy countenance. 9 For all our days are passed away in thy wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told. 10 The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. 11 Who knoweth the power of thine anger? even according to thy fear, so is thy wrath.

So just don’t stand around going through emotional pit falls doing nothing or just doing things that suit you because only what you do for Christ will last.

Ecclesiastes 9:9-12
9 Live joyfully with the wife whom thou lovest all the days of the life of thy vanity, which he hath given thee under the sun, all the days of thy vanity: for that is thy portion in this life, and in thy labour which thou takest under the sun. 10 Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest. 11. I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. 12 For man also knoweth not his
time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them.

1 John 2:14-17
14 I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the
world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

In my Conclusion, I’m leaving you with these from the Lord:

Ephesians 5:1-33, Ephesians 4:27-28 but all of the 4th chapter. You should also read 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12.

What’s Stealing Your Time and Heart from Christ?

When it comes to people in the world today, they seem to be preoccupied with time, and sometimes they will make statements like: “You’re wasting my time,” or “You’re slowing me down,” or “I have spent to much time with you.” Still other people might say: “If you don’t have anything good to say that makes sense, then stop wasting my time.”

People use the word “time” as though it was a mystic chant. It seems that anyone that has a busy life today doesn’t even have enough time to think clearly. The average person from the ages of 14-21, I believe are going through what I call, “Life identity Crisis.” Most people are told so much today how to do and what to do and every thing in between. Through the internet and your smart phone, tablet or smart watch, you can be told how to eat, where to eat, how to walk or run, how far you have gone walking or running, plus your location, where to shop, what the best deals are, and how to get to them. You can keep up with the latest news from Hollywood to the grave, all while drinking a double latte whilst driving in your SUV!

But if you’ve left your phone at home by mistake don’t worry. Just look down at your wrist on your smart watch. You’ll think “I’m saved! I got it at a steal for $300.00 across town.” Since you have your smart watch on, you can keep up with the latest buzz feed. Yes, I said it. Buzz feed. When you look at what the word “feed” means, it is an act of giving food, especially to animals or a baby in a continuous manner.

It may become clearer as to what is going on in your heart, mind and soul when you can understand this old computer term “fifo,” or first in first out. So as I read the meaning of feed, it didn’t state weather or not the feed was good or bad. So when you look at what buzz feed is doing to you, it’s consuming your time and life with useless garbage. If you didn’t have access to that device so readily, your mind would have time to recover from that buzz in your head. Look at the person near you and ask them, “have you got buzzed lately?” Sometimes these devices can become a surrogate for a lost or unfounded relationship; they can easily take the place of a human.

Now think how often you carry your phone. Better yet what is the first thing you do in the morning and the last thing you do at night with your phone? Most of us have an intimate relationship with our phones in so much that it walks with us every where we go. Even when we go to bed at night it lies on the pillow beside us. I could go on and on about how we fall asleep in a loving embrace with our phones, but I’ll stop there.

Lets see what the Word of God has to say concerning this stealing of time from your life.

Galatians 3:1: O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?

You see, the Galatians or rather the Judaizers were saying that Paul was not a one of the original Apostles but derived his teaching from the Twelve.

1 John 2:15-17: 15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world.

As you all know that while you strive to please men and self, you might wind up losing all as is stated in the book of Mark 8:36: 36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

In my conclusion, I’m going to drop these nuggets of Gods words.

Proverbs 3:3-7 3 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: 4 So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man. 5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. 7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.

Isaiah 26:3-5 3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. 4 Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength: 5 For he bringeth down them that dwell on high; the lofty city, he layeth it low; he layeth it low, even to the ground; he bringeth it even to the dust.

Are You a Time Redeemer?

How many of you, have ever said “I wish I had the time to do this or have done that?” Maybe you’ve said, “If I could only get back that time I wasted.” What is so ironic about that internal conversation is that taking the time to think about how you wish you would have taken time to accomplish something is in itself a waste of time, if you don’t reconcile a way of redeeming the waste. When I received Christ as my Saviour, got baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, as a young person I was still youthful, and began to do things that weren’t conducive to my spiritual walk. Then as I matured in Christ, I began to say in reflection back, “Oh if I could have those youthful days over again, I would serve the Lord in my youth and have the time to do this or that.” Some things you can’t recover. If you did things that lead to this or that decision, due to the environment and mind set you had, if you had the life to live over in the same environment, you’d make the exact same decision, because its due to certain constraints in your life, thereby repeating that episode all over again. That is why its so important that in order to bring our lives into some type of control and stop dwelling on the events and situations of our past understand this: there are things you can’t recover.

A. Virginity. Can’t be recovered.

B. A word that has been said. Whatever intent behind the word whether kind or evil cannot be taken back, and has no strings attached to them. The Word of God says that we will be given account of every idle word that comes out of our mouths.

C. An event after its over. Once its over its over. You can’t recover that.

D. Youth after you have grown older. Can anyone recover their youth? No, its gone. Oh if you’re 20. “I wish I was 15.” If you’re 30. “I wish I was in my 20s.” If you’re 40, you wish you could go back to your 30s. Oh how sweet to go back to those moments. But when you were living them, you did so frivolously. You can’t recover that.

E. Time after it has passed. Do you remember those things? We need to maintain that in our heart that if its already done, its done. It has been racked up in a list in Heaven, giving an account of everything you’ve done in your life. Summation is either everlating life or not, heaven or hell. You are going to give an account. If he knows the number of hairs on our head, then the very idle work or act you do is being registered to your name. Are you a time redeemer? Can you redeem your time?

If you remember these sayings, it might help you move past the past. But you can redeem time, but not in the state that time is viewed as, as in passing of occurrences, thoughts, movements, moments in existence. You can’t recover that form of time, but in the true sense of the word redeem. Redeem means to compensate for faults or a bad aspects of something; to save, rescue, vindicate, reclaim, regain, repossess or rescue. Simply trying to get back where you started. To reunite yourself with you. To reunite yourself with you. If we use the words I just mentioned in a sentence, it would sound something like this: Save means from me. You are your own worst enemy. That is redeeming. I need to be vindicated from my past. Sometimes your past becomes your future, it haunts you because you never forget the things in your past. Not forgiving you for what you’ve done has been a problem for the Saints and the world. I will reclaim my life. Whose life is it? Its yours. Do you want someone to keep your life from you? Regain. I must regain who I am. A lot of us are walking around today and they don’t know where they’re going or how to get to where they don’t know they’re going. Repossess. I need God or Jesus in my life so that I can repossess my soul. Some of us have given our souls to Satan, doing his work everyday. But I need to have the knowledge of the Kingdom to repossess my soul. Sometimes we do things unconsciously not realizing we’re giving ourselves to something evil, then afterward we try to build ourselves back up to regain who we are. You’re soul is who you are. Not your name. The name is the expression of someone’s outward expression of who you are. The Word of God tells us not to be afraid of someone who can destroy the body, but body and soul, then cast it into hell.

13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; 19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; 20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

Ephesians 5:13-20

Add the words I just spoke into verse 16.

16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

16 Save the time, because the days are evil.

16 Rescue the time, because the days are evil.

16 Vindicate the time, because the days are evil.

16  Reclaim the time, because the days are evil.

16  Regain the time, because the days are evil.

16 Repossess the time, because the days are evil.

16 Rescue the time, because the days are evil.

All these words are telling you to grab a hold of the time you have, to utilize for your walk in Salvation, and bring others along with you, so they can be inspired to follow Christ. This is the time that we’ve spent doing frivolous things, so we can regain, hold and repossess our own souls for the work of the Kingdom. God is not just saying that, He is not mocked, whatever a man sows that shall he reap. Reclaiming the time. I need to reclaim that time, reclaim my life, regain who I am, vindicate my past, and I need to save me from me. The days are evil. Its getting harder and harder to maintain who you are. If you get caught up in society, they’ll possess your soul and you’ll try your best to be running after your own soul. If you do the things of the world, then the world dictates to you how you should live. Without God in our lives we can’t repossess what was stolen from us. He will restore the years that the canker worm has stolen from you. Worms take little bites here and there that weaken the structure. Its the seeds that people place in your lives that slowly eat at you, and you don’t realize until it confronts you and you can’t combat it because you’re broken down inside, eating at your self-will for a period of time. Then you don’t have the strength to say no. You can’t always allow people to conduct your life. The Word of God gives you advice on how to live holy before God. Your soul is not like a car where when you get done, you go and give it to the junk yard and get a new one. A name doesn’t dictate who you are, but a name is what people see you as. That name isn’t who I am. Who I am is what God says I am. He is the possessor of my soul and He should be of your soul. Whatever He says to do you should do, not what you want to do because it was you who got yourself in the mess in the first place.

People try to bring up excesses for how their life is going in the wrong direction. We blame everyone except ourselves. We don’t want to face who we really are. Redeeming who and what you really are is to ask the Lord to save you from you. I need to reclaim who I am and what I am because the world has told me I was “this,” but they don’t know the real you because they aren’t directors of souls like God, they only direct the outward person. They hope that directing the outward person will cause the inward person to follow along. You look at people who are recovering from drugs or alcohol. They profess they are not alcoholics or drug addicts. The act doesn’t justify who you are. You allow the possessor to control who you are. We allow the wrong thing to take control of us, guiding us doing things that we shouldn’t do. Its appealing to your flesh, not to your soul, common sense, or who you are. People adjust their life to the things they like; To possess or gain what that thing brings to their emotional standpoint in their walk. Some in the Church will say “I like going out to hear prophetic sayings from other pastors.” Why? “Because I need someone to tell me what I should be and where I should go.” Satan will tell you anything your flesh desires, to cause your heart to waver. We need to get a grip on who we are, redeem who we are, because these days are evil. There are little things catching you up easily. The normal superficial things we see; arguments, anger, places we like to go, things we like to watch, books we like to read…these are superficial things, but it goes deeper. The superficial things are keeping what is really going on with you camouflaged. We need to redeem ourselves from ourselves, be vindicated of our past, reclaim our lives, regain who we are, and we need God in our lives so we can repossess our souls. Satan knows how to work you externally, but not via your soul. He doesn’t know how to get to your soul because its off limits to him, but he can get you by the things you are influenced by. If he jacks you up externally, your soul will suffer. The Lord said “cast your cares on Me because I care for you.” He says there is no need to worry. But when Satan gets us to worry or get angry, it disturbs our soul, and we can’t get righteousness to flow in us because we’re upset. Satan knows what button to push in our lives to get us to come out of Christ.

12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. 13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 3:12 -14

They are things that are called baggage. We don’t forget the baggage, but we carry it forward in our lives, and wonder why we keep suffering from the same things in the past. Anything that you tie to yourself that is behind you will always hold you back. Past sins, desires, lifestyles or people. You can’t keep living in the past because everything there smells. David said, I was young but now I’m old. But one thing I do remember is that never have I seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. When you were young leave what you did in the past there, and don’t bring it to your future. Many are caught living in their past. Wondering why they never got over that old relationship, constantly bringing it to the front in the new relationship. Forgetting those things behind me. This is the process of redeeming the time. You are a redeemer because you forget those things behind you, thus reclaiming you. How many want to reclaim who you are? I need to be vindicated of my past, because its holding me back like an anchor on a ship, and I can’t move forward. A person who continues to allow the anchor of their past to hold them down, will never have a bright future. If you are in a place today you’re hard pressed to get out of, just look at your past.

How long halt you between 2 opinions. Some of us get saved, and baptized in the name of Jesus, and we tell ourselves that we’re now going to walk in the light; in whatever God brings our way and use it for our walk. As soon as we start walking, Satan brings all the people up from our past. That is why the first word for the definition of redeem is “save.” We are our own worst enemy and need to saved from ourselves.

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

Ephesians 6:13-16

Even though the days are evil, we have the whole armor that we may be able to withstand in those evil days, having done all we can do, stand! Hold your ground, you are a Child of God, and have been made the head and not the tail. These are the evil days. Stand for what you believe. The armor needed is already with you. Guard your loins with truth, a breastplate of righteousness to guard your heart, and have peace on your feet. The little darts of Satan are those who belittle and put you down that cause you to question who you are. But if you have faith, which is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen, then you will stand, unmovable, always abounding in the love of God.

Death Comes to Everybody

Death comes to everyone, no matter what or who you are, you come into this world, and you’ll die out of this world, if God does not come back first. Death comes to everyone’s door at least once. “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment…” Hebrews 9:27. We all come into this world to die.

Ecclesiastes 9:1-6

For all this I considered in my heart even to declare all this, that the righteous, and the wise, and their works, are in the hand of God: no man knoweth either love or hatred by all that is before them. All things come alike to all: there is one event to the righteous, and to the wicked; to the good and to the clean, and to the unclean; to him that sacrificeth, and to him that sacrificeth not: as is the good, so is the sinner; and he that sweareth, as he that feareth an oath. This is an evil among all things that are done under the sun, that there is one event unto all: yea, also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their heart while they live, and after that they go to the dead. For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion. For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun.

When you come into this world, when you are a baby, when you first breath air, your cells begin to die. So, men who are trying to make like their controlling the world, they don’t want to die. They don’t want to get old nor look old. You can tell that they haven’t found the fountain of youth. No man lives forever. Satan has promised them “you will live forever like me.” Death, when it hits you, the only person who knows is you. The body is only a shell. This world is not the reality. The reality is, what you see is not what you get.

The time that God give you is precious, not to be wasted doing foolishness. You spend 10 years of your life on drugs, 10 years of your life on chasing women or men; then that is 10 years you can’t get back. Your clock is advanced, and runs on, and you run out of time. There are people that say “I wish I would have served God in my youth, but I served the world.” Now, they take as much time as possible to serve God. God said he would shorten our time to “threescore years and ten” Psalm 90:10. We think we have time, if death doesn’t visit you first. Young people think that they have all the time in the world. Older people say they don’t have much time left. Most people don’t want to face the fact that, if your time is short, shouldn’t you try to find out more about your creator God?

Too Many Incompletes in Our Lives

James 1:1-20, 2 Corinthians 8:10-20, John 19:30

How many things have we started and left unfinished? “I’ll get to it later, I’ll do it tomorrow,” yet later and tomorrow for those things never comes. Time can be your best friend or your worst enemy.

Complete means to bring to an end, fully carry out, to make full. The greek word for complete is epiteleo or exartizo; to fit out or make exact. When Jesus looked up and said it is finished, He didn’t wait for the next day to say it; he didn’t hesitate. He came and completed what He was tasked to do by God.

So, as in the natural, is in the spiritual. When you wait until the last minute, you rush, and when you rush, your work is not done properly. 2 Corinthians 8:10-20, is an example of Paul trying to tell a group who had started a task a year prior to continue on in what they started to “perform the doing of it.” When you fail to complete a project in your life, it affects the outcome of other things in your life. Tomorrow may be too late, we know not the day or hour the Son of Man comes. How would you like Jesus to come in the middle of your incompleteness?

If your tasked to go 100 miles to pick up a very important supply shipment for people who are in need and you say I’ll do it tomorrow, instead of right then and there, what do you think the outcome will be? When you start out, you find you only make it 50 miles because the road that you normally travel on, is under construction. Now, those people in need, aren’t helped and harm befalls them, simply due to your incompleteness. You’ve not completed your task. If the Lord has given you a gift to restore and bring health back to people, and you put off using it, you yourself may fall ill and end up not utilizing your gift. So it behooves us not to procrastinate, but COMPLETE it, with the utmost urgency. The same in the natural, is the same in the spiritual.
