My name is Pastor Tony Catron I graduate from K.S.U. with a degree in electronic/electrical engineering. While doing that I became a Junior Deacon and also a musician in my dad's ministry in Cleveland, Ohio. Years later, my career took me to Michigan where I worked as a Electrical/Electronic Engineer. While in Michigan I became a Minister, then later went to Seminary training at Birmingham Bible Institute and became an Elder at a large Pentecostal church in Michigan called LLCC. I was called to the ministry by God. So I headed up an outreach ministry based on the End Times, dealing with restoration in people lives. Then my dad called me back to Ohio to help him Pastor his church. During that time, God changed my outreach ministry, turning it into a full-time restoration ministry. He gave me the name Ark of Covenant Ministries and the rest is history.

So Little Time, So Many Things to Do, So What’s Going on With You?

In these challenging times, we find our self looking for “H & H “help and hope in this world. Not just because of the virus and pandemic, but also because of the people’s heart for challenging the validity of the the Bible, with is the inspired words of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the One and only true and living God. At this time I would like everyone to take a couple of minutes and think about your life and where you stand in this moment. Are you where you want to be in life right now? Are you where you want to be spiritually? What is keeping you from obtaining a good and healthy life and healthier life in Christ? Have your desires and your Goals for this life over shadowed the need for a relationship in Jesus Christ? In a lot of cases in people’s lives, they are trying so hard to balance their worldly existence over their spiritual growth; In some ways, we have some how convinced ourselves that we can do this. Although not realizing that only through the guidance of the Holy Ghost, that will lead your flesh in a complete humble and submissive state of mind in life in this world can you avoid not allowing your fleshy nature to get the best of you.

John 16:13 says, 13. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

When you’re so caught up trying to pursue you, the time spent trying to do you will become lost and unrecoverable growth in being what the will of God is for your life. As you know, time doesn’t wait for no one so as you draw closer to His return and have all that unrecoverable time behind you, the opportunities that you could have done in doing the Will of God are now are lost, because you where pursuing you.

James 4:1-7 says, 1 From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? 2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. 3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. 4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. 5 Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy? 6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he
saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. 7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

In some cases we are so consumed by the thought of what is going to happen to our lives tomorrow, that we can’t even move in to today.

Matthew 6:34 says, 34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Proverbs 3:5-7 says, 5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. 7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

In my conclusion, James 1:22-27 says, 22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a
glass: 24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. 25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. 26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion is vain. 27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

Extra reading: Jeremiah 29:11-13
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. 12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. 13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

The Plot to Kill Jesus

The Priests and Religious Scholars wanted to kill Jesus.

Jesus is Anointed for His Death and Burial

Do we have areas in our life where we value Jesus with our whole lives like the woman who anointed Jesus or are we like the disciples who did not seem to value Him as much as she?

The Passover

Get a visual of being in the disciples shoes as they are wondering who it was who would betray Jesus. Can you even imagine what may have been going through Judas’ mind?

Jesus Shares Communion with His Twelve

Jesus doesn’t expose Judas before the other 11 disciples. He sees the bigger picture in the midst of it. Look at Jesus’ life as a blueprint. Don’t call those out who betray and back-stab you, but focus on the bigger picture, what really matters.

Jesus Prophesies Peter’s Denial

We can see Peter’s arrogance here and his great love for Jesus.

Jesus Prays in Gethsemane

We are to do for Him what He did for us, because He first did it for us. He threw Himself down and prayed to the Father. Coming back to His disciples, he found they were asleep. Are you in a spiritual sleep to the point that when Jesus comes, you’ll be left behind? Always be on guard and covered by watching and praying.

Jesus’ Betrayal and Arrest

Judas identifies Jesus with an affectionate kiss. Something so intimate as a kiss was used as an act of betrayal. What heart wrenching agony Jesus may have experienced when Judas twisted a gesture that was meant to represent love and trust to one of betrayal and selfishness.

Jesus Condemned by the Religious Leaders

Jesus was taunted being blindfolded and hit on the face, and asked to prophecy about who was going to hit him next. How evil and cynical. Beaten and spat upon. He’s condemned to die. In spite of all of this, Jesus’ displays of humility toward those who brutalized him were astounding and beautiful.

In What Condition Are You Serving, or Being Served?

Sometimes we can get carried away with our walk as we go about our lives in Christ, having a unmerited life walk in Christ. In other words we are so involved with commission that we forget about the His purpose and His will for our walk. You might say for filling the will of the commission its like walking untethered from his will for your walk. So you have forgotten the
purpose for the commission.

Luke 14:16-24 says, 16 Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many: 17 And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready. 18 And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused. 19 And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused. 20 And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come. 21 So that servant came,
and shewed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind. 22 And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room. 23 And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the
highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled. 24 For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper.

As you have read that, some people started out wanting to serve the Lord but their focus got skewed by the desires of their flesh. You know there is a old saying that goes something like this: “Good is not good enough.”

Proverbs 16:2 says, 2 All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes;
but the LORD weigheth the spirits.

In the Word of God it says there is a way that seems right to a man but the end there of is the way of death. Now look at the person next to you and tell them this, “your good intention may not be good enough.”

Proverbs 21:2-3, 2 Every way of a man is right in his own eyes:
but the LORD pondereth the hearts. 3 To do justice and judgment
is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice

Ecclesiastes 9:10-11 says, 10 Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest. 11 I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to
men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.

In my Conclusion, take what I’m going to say now, with you now. Don’t let the purpose of your commission get lost in you. Remember only what you do Christ will last. As people of faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, the last scripture I’ll give you 2 Corinthians 4:8-12, which says, 8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; 10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. 11 For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. 12 So then death worketh in us, but life in you.

So this is why our motto for AOCM is “ Never give up never surrender “ and that means don’t surrender to your environment nor to your flesh, to friends, and even your family, because to surrender is defeat which leads to death.

Their Is a Way That Seems Right Unto You, but What Is Your End?

In this time of uncertainty in our lives have you ever asked yourself this question: Are my heart and my mind on the same page? Can my life be way better then what it is now or why is my life so full of pain and turmoil? You might even ask yourself what life is suppose to be about. This leads us to the
question: what does life mean to you? You might want to ask yourself, where your understanding of life came from and who or what has shaped your understanding.

In the book of Proverbs 16:25-29 says, 25 There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. 26 He that laboureth laboureth for himself; for his mouth craveth it of him. 27 An ungodly man diggeth up evil: and in his lips there is as a burning fire. 28 A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends. 29 A violent man enticeth his neighbour, and leadeth him into the way that is not good.

We must understand that in Proverbs 21:2 , every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts.

That’s why Proverbs 3:5-7 says, 5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. 7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

As human beings, we need to come to one conclusion fast: if you made the mistakes in your life, how are you going to avoid the emotions of the past?
You have to remember if you try to do an alternate procedure the next time to avoid the same mistake as before, your spiritual adversary knows this. So in turn demons will put a twist in the narrative or the next time, knowing that the same weakness are still in you which caused your previous failures, use the same tactics to trip you up.

2 Timothy 4:3-4 says, 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

As long as you haven’t made an actual step or action both mentally and physically, by the renewing of your conscience thoughts, then you will continually fall into the same snare, just different situations.

James 1:13-15 says, 3 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: 14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. 15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

In My conclusion remember what Philippians 4:4-9 says, 4 Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. 5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. 6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding,
shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever
things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. 9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God
of peace shall be with you.

May the Lord have mercy on the hearer of this word for the day is short and the time is at hand.

Mark 13

Signs of the End of the Age

“For many shall come in my name saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many,” Mark 13:6. Its important to know God for yourself so that when the deceivers come you can discern what is truth and what isn’t. When the disciples didn’t know something, they asked Jesus in simple questions. We need to be in the habit of just asking questions. Wars and rumours of wars are coming, famines and natural disasters are coming. But we shall not be moved by these things, rather see them as signs. While the Lord doesn’t want us to stress about our problems, He doesn’t want us focus on them either, but find a balance in Him.

Jesus Warns of Persecution

Because of our faith in Jesus, we will be hated. We’ll even have family members turn against us, but the only One we really have is Jesus who will never turn His back on us. If we continuously remain faithful to Jesus, we will make it to the end to experience salvation.

The Detestable Idol That Brings Misery

You see so many false prophets now a days. You can’t be surprised because its been spoken that its going to happen. Yet to witness it first hand is astounding. The enemy is in the midst really trying to steer people away. There are those who are following others who really believe their half truths. The enemy is moving and tries to cover his tracks even with the holy scriptures! If you aren’t abiding in Jesus, you can easily be swayed into his lies. People think there is a grey area in life, however with God its either black or white, good or evil. You can’t be both at once. You can’t fully give your life and have convenience too. We get everything that we want, whenever we want it in this society. We need to be willing to lay down our own desires and be led by God. Its hard to let go of your comforts, but its necessary to be stretched to become more one with God.

The Appearing of the Son of Man

Jesus will come back with great power and glory to gather His elect from the Earth.

The Parable of the Fig Tree

While neither Jesus, nor the angles or us as disciples know when Jesus Himself will come, we can know by the “signs” of the rise of many false prophets, the continuing intensity of seismic events of epic proportion, famines and wars will give us an indicator as to the season that He will come.

Live Always Ready for His Appearing

We need to be found doing His will, not just twiddling our thumbs, waiting for Him to come back and not being effective for Him.

A Parable of a Man Who Left on a Journey

Watch. Jesus said watch to Peter, Andrew, James & John. Watch. Jesus says watch to all of us too. Watch over your heart posture, don’t allow yourself to fall asleep spiritually. The things of this world, the cares of this life lull you to sleep. Check your heart. Its serious. This Earth is not all there is. There is a restoration of all things and we are in the very last moments leading into it.
